Nobby Hashizume is one of the top Lydiard endurance training experts in the world today. He studied Lydiard training with Coach Arthur Lydiard in a year’s apprenticeship while he lived with Arthur in New Zealand. He has served as the professional distance running team coach for Hitachi in Japan and is one of the few people whom Arthur trusted and shared his own literature and has worked directly with runners of all fitness levels to advance their performance.

Coach Nobby is a leading force behind the creation of the Lydiard Running Wizard online personalized training plans with world renown exercise physiologist Dr. Dick Brown. Proceeds from Running Wizard plans goes directly to the non-profit Lydiard Foundation. In St. Louis on the ground daily advice for Running Wizard training plan users is provided by Running Niche co-owners Jennifer Henderson and Bob Dyer at no cost.
