Join us on this fun and informative evening that will focus on having the proper running equipment (i.e. shoes and bras) and the common injuries and structural issues that result from not having the proper equipment. This talk takes place on Monday, March 11 at 6:30PM at HealthSource of Clayton and will last about an hour and a half.
Dr. Gregory Neff D.C. of HealthSource of Clayton will speak about common structural issues that could cause injury (i.e. flat feet, tilted pelvis, leg length deficiency etc.) and how chiropractic can address these.
Running Niche co-owner, Bob Dyer, will speak about the equipment that runners, especially those training for marathons, need to have in order to be healthy on race day and beyond.
Dr. Gregory Neff is a 1998 honor graduate from Logan College of Chiropractic. During his doctorate education (1994-1998) he served as Health Center Consultant, was recognized as Outstanding clinical intern and graduated cum laude. Dr. Neff specializes in men’s health issues, sport injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, low back pain, headaches and personal injury cases. He uses a comprehensive whole-body approach to treating patients. His knowledge of nutrition, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, core strengthening, massage and physical therapy modalities enable him to accomplish this task and provide the best possible care. Dr. Neff is highly skilled in acupuncture with state certification. Dr. Neff is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Missouri State Chiropractic Association.
Running Niche co-owner ,Bob Dyer, has a 2:21 marathon to his credit, has earned a master’s degree in exercise physiology at the University of Michigan and had a successful 33-year career in the footwear industry with Etonic Running, Puma, Brown Shoe Company and MBT. He now runs local St. Louis running store Running Niche alongside co-owner, Jennifer Henderson.
